SeraSupper — Harper Advanced Technologies

1. Introduction

SeraSupper is a meal planning application for iOS developed and published by Harper Advanced Technologies, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. This Privacy Policy explains how SeraSupper handles your information when you use the app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

The short version is this: Harper Advanced Technologies does not collect, see, or store any of your personal information or app content. Your meal plans, recipes, dish library, grocery lists, and preferences belong entirely to you and remain on your device and, optionally, in your personal iCloud account. We have designed SeraSupper to operate without our servers being involved in any way.

Please read this policy carefully. By using SeraSupper, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect (or Do Not Collect)

Harper Advanced Technologies does not collect, receive, transmit to, or store on its own servers any personal information, usage data, meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, dish preferences, cuisine selections, or any other content you create or interact with inside SeraSupper. We have no backend servers that receive data from the app at all.

All content you enter into SeraSupper — including your dish library, meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, and cuisine preferences — is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple’s Core Data framework. This data never leaves your device except as described in the iCloud sync and user-initiated sharing sections below.

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Apple’s CloudKit framework will automatically sync your app data to your personal, private iCloud account. This sync is end-to-end encrypted in transit and at rest. Your iCloud data is stored in a private CloudKit container that is cryptographically inaccessible to Harper Advanced Technologies. This data is governed exclusively by Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit Privacy Policy, not by this policy.

Apple may automatically collect anonymized crash reports from users who have enabled the “Share iPhone & Watch Analytics” setting on their device. If you have opted into this Apple setting, Apple may make anonymized crash diagnostic data available to the developer through Apple’s App Store Connect platform for the sole purpose of identifying and fixing software bugs. Harper Advanced Technologies does not use any third-party crash reporting tools, and you have full control over this through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

3. How Your Information Is Used

Because Harper Advanced Technologies does not collect any of your data, we do not use your information for any purpose. We do not analyze, sell, share, license, or profit from your personal information or app content in any form.

All AI features within SeraSupper — including recipe suggestions and dish recommendations — are powered by Apple’s FoundationModels framework. This processing occurs on your device. For certain tasks, Apple’s framework may route processing through Apple’s Private Cloud Compute (PCC) infrastructure. In those cases, data handling is governed entirely by Apple’s privacy policies for Private Cloud Compute. Harper Advanced Technologies does not receive, process, log, or retain any information related to your use of AI features.

App data stored locally or synced to iCloud is used solely to provide the core functionality of SeraSupper: displaying your meal plans, dish library, recipes, and grocery lists across your devices. No advertising, profiling, or behavioral analysis takes place.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your app data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s Core Data framework. Local data is protected by the security features built into iOS, including device-level encryption when your device is locked.

If you use iCloud, your data is synced via Apple’s CloudKit framework. Apple encrypts this data in transit using industry-standard TLS and encrypts it at rest within your private iCloud container. Apple’s iCloud security practices, including support for end-to-end encryption through Advanced Data Protection, apply to this data. Please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy and iCloud security documentation for details.

Harper Advanced Technologies does not operate any servers that store your data, so there is no risk of your data being exposed through a breach of our systems.

5. Third-Party Services

SeraSupper does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, tracking libraries, or data broker integrations. Aside from the optional, user-initiated features described below, no third party receives your data through the app.

The following optional, user-initiated features may cause data to be shared with third-party services at your direction:

Calendar Integration: SeraSupper allows you to optionally export or sync your meal plans to Apple Calendar or Google Calendar. This feature requires your explicit permission through an iOS system prompt. If you grant permission and choose to use this feature, the meal plan data you export is governed by Apple’s and Google’s respective privacy policies. Harper Advanced Technologies has no visibility into this data once it is shared with a calendar service.
In-App Recipe Browsing: SeraSupper lets you search for and open recipe websites inside an in-app web browser, and it can extract ingredient lists from a page you have opened. When you open a recipe website, that website receives standard web request information (such as your IP address and the page you request), exactly as it would if you visited it in any web browser. This activity is user-initiated and is governed by the privacy policies of the websites you choose to visit. Harper Advanced Technologies does not receive, log, or store the pages you view or the ingredients you import.
Share Sheet: SeraSupper allows you to share recipes and grocery lists using iOS’s native share sheet. This feature is entirely user-initiated. You choose what to share and where to send it. Harper Advanced Technologies has no knowledge of what you share, with whom, or through which app or service.

SeraSupper does not process any payments and does not include in-app purchases or subscriptions. No payment information of any kind is collected.

6. Children’s Privacy

SeraSupper is intended for general audiences aged 13 and older. The app is not directed at children under the age of 13 and is not designed or marketed to attract children under 13.

Harper Advanced Technologies does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Because SeraSupper does not collect personal information from any users, no special collection practices apply to children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 13 has provided personal information to us in some way, please contact us at the address below and we will address your concern promptly.

This policy is intended to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We believe SeraSupper qualifies for COPPA safe-harbor treatment because the app does not collect personal information from users of any age.

7. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This section provides the disclosures required under California law.

Harper Advanced Technologies does not collect, sell, share, or disclose for cross-context behavioral advertising any personal information from SeraSupper users. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for any commercial purpose. Because we do not collect personal information, there is no personal information for us to provide, delete, or correct in response to a consumer rights request.

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected about them, the right to delete personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because Harper Advanced Technologies does not collect personal information from SeraSupper users, these rights do not apply in a practical sense. However, if you have a specific question or concern, you are welcome to contact us at the address below.

8. International Users

SeraSupper is available worldwide through the Apple App Store. If you are using SeraSupper from outside the United States, including from a country in the European Union or European Economic Area, please be aware that your app data is stored on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account through Apple’s infrastructure.

For users in the European Union and EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may apply. Because Harper Advanced Technologies does not collect, process, or control any personal data from SeraSupper users, we do not act as a data controller or data processor under GDPR with respect to your app content. Data synced to iCloud is processed by Apple Inc. under Apple’s Data Processing Agreements and privacy commitments, which include EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data. You can delete all of your app data at any time by uninstalling SeraSupper from your device. If you have iCloud sync enabled, you can also delete your SeraSupper data from iCloud through iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

You can control whether anonymized crash data is shared with app developers by going to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements and toggling the relevant settings.

You can revoke calendar access at any time through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.

Because Harper Advanced Technologies does not hold any of your personal data, we are unable to fulfill data portability, access, or deletion requests on our end — but you already have complete access to and control over your data through your device and iCloud account.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Harper Advanced Technologies may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to the policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, notify users through an in-app notice or an App Store update description.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about our practices. Your continued use of SeraSupper after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

The current version of this Privacy Policy is always available within the SeraSupper app and on the app’s App Store listing.
